Adams County Irish Festival is now operated and managed by the Private Barney Devine, AOH Division 1, of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The festival location remains Moose Park near Gettysburg! The AOH plans to continue providing a family-oriented Irish festival, with entertainment, craft and food vendors, and other cultural experiences for the Irish, for Americans of Irish descent, and for the those whose always wished they fell into one of the first two categories.

With a full day of Irish music, food, merchandise, and more, the 19th annual Adams County Irish Festival offers wholesome family fun while benefiting charitable community organizations in Adams County. The festival is held rain or shine in the shady grove of the Gettysburg Moose Park, located conveniently off US Rt. 30, approximately 1.5 miles east of the US Rt. 15 Intersection.

Adams County’s only Irish Festival staged a memorable 17th festival in 2017, with a glorious day and a fantastic array of local, regional and internationally-known Irish bands, Irish step dancers, Irish food, Irish wolfhounds, and art and gift vendors. And 2018 was just as fantastic in terms of vendors and bands, and despite the rain, 400 people were in attendance.

We are anticipating a dry and wonderful festival this year and will be announcing details as entertainment and vendors are booked. You can read about last year's festival using the drop-down menus below the entertainment tab above.

South-central Pennsylvania is traditionally known for being an area of the State populated by German immigrants but what is less known (and celebrated) is its Irish heritage. Join us in historic Gettysburg for a day of music, dance, food, workshops, living history and crafts in celebrating the area's Irish heritage.

Please consider volunteering 2 hours of your time the day of the festival to help ensure it continues year after year. In exchange for a 2-hour shift, volunteers receive free admission for the entire day.

Over the years, the Adams County Irish Festival has benefited the Children's Friendship Project of Northern Ireland and various Irish-American charitable organizations. Under the production of Adams County Division 1 of the Ancient Order of Hibernians since 2015, the festival has been the flagship fundraising event for the Hibernian Hunger Project, a nationwide community service campaign by the AOH to support local hunger-relief efforts.

Please note:

Due to health and safety concerns, dogs and other pets are not permitted on the festival grounds. Service dogs are exempt from this restriction.

Coolers an other containers of food & beverages will not be permitted on the festival grounds.
