Ray Owen is a national recording artist, award-winning songwriter and entertaining folksinger who is based in Gettysburg. His last album achieved national airplay and was selected as a candidate for Grammy nomination which resulted in tours with legendary entertainers such as Arlo Guthrie, Hank Williams, Jr. and Willie Nelson. Owen was recently named Pennsylvania Songwriter of the Year by The Pennsylvania Festival Association and the Philadelphia Inquirer distinguished him as, "One of America's premiere outdoor fair and festival performers."

Owen's repertoire includes Irish songs, sea chanteys and some humorous stories. He also presents children's shows involving the sea-life world of an ancient Celtic mariner along with "Celtic-American Odyssey", an engaging musical journey through the stout-hearted history of the Irish that celebrates the building of America.
